"I'm in a hurry to get things done, Oh I rush and rush until life is no fun."
- From the song 'I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why)' by Alabama

There is a difference between "normal" irritability and irritability due to a "dark" impatience.
Some things would cause any normal person to be irritated. Overly impatient people get more agitated, angry and stressed than others.
More anger, agitation and stress could lead to road rage, murder and other crimes.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

"I can't wait to grow up."
"I can't wait to retire."
"I can't wait for [this] to be over."
Just about everyday, we hear statements like these. People generally do not like to wait. But some things require time to grow, mature, blossom, transform.
Beware of the rush to do something because of greed, selfishness or other ungodly behavior.

Sometimes wanting it all and reaching for the stars could be a problem....

"Ambition is like love, impatient both of delays and rivals." - Buddha

#LessonOfTheDay

Find the right balance between contentment and ambition, the pursuit of worldly desires such as money, fame and power. Ambition is associated with greed, cut-throat competition, envy and evil. However, a laid back attitude (associated with contentment) usually gets a person nowhere.

It is true to some people will manipulate, confuse and take advantage of you using words. You must know when to listen and when to ignore. The person's intentions will provide a clue.

From the song 'Don't Listen To A Word You've Heard' by Justin Nozuka:

Close your ears,
Open your eyes,
Listen to the words you see.
You are blind to what you hear.
Listen to the words you see.
Do not fear the truth beneath,
Reach for roots beneath the trees,
Listen to the words you seek.
Don't listen to a word they say,
Do NOT listen to a word you've heard,
Do not listen to a word you've heard,
People are people we live for our own,
Live how you think not by what you've been told.

Ripple effect: as shown in this video from YouTube, dipping a finger in water leads to ripples the same way a small thing could lead to big problems.

In the featured story on , R. Emanuel may have overlooked the little things which led to things spiraling out of control.

#LessonOfTheDay

Pay attention to the little things. Overlooking little, important things could lead to big problems - spiral out of control.

From the song 'Hero' by Mariah Carey:

There's an answer if you reach into your soul
And the sorrow that you know will melt away.
And then the hero comes along,
With the strength to carry on,
And you cast your fears aside,
And you know you can survive.
When you feel like hope is gone,
Look inside you and be strong,
And you finally see the truth,
That the hero lies in you.
