"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams
"If you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original." - Ken Robinson, The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything
"One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star." - Friedrich Nietzsche
"Invention, it must be humbly admitted, does not consist in creating out of void but out of chaos." - Mary Shelley
"Where all think alike there is little danger of innovation." ― Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire
"Creativity comes from a conflict of ideas." - Donatella Versace
#MainMessageForToday When there is conflict, when there is chaos, when things are going wrong, creativity may blossom.
"But unless we are creators we are not fully alive. What do I mean by creators? Not only artists, whose acts of creation are the obvious ones of working with paint of clay or words. Creativity is a way of living life, no matter our vocation or how we earn our living. Creativity is not limited to the arts, or having some kind of important career." ― Madeleine L'Engle, Walking on Water
"To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it." ― Osho
"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources." - Albert Einstein
"We are all feeding from each other, all the time, every day." ― Dave Eggers, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius
"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to." ― Jim Jarmusch, MovieMaker Magazine #53 - Winter, January 22, 2004
"Others inspire us, information feeds us, practice improves our performance, but we need quiet time to figure things out, to emerge with new discoveries, to unearth original answers." - Ester Buchholz
#MainMessageForToday Although creative ideas tend to be different from the ideas of others, we get a lot of ideas from others.

Creativity could make the impossible possible....
From the song 'Impossible' by Whitney Houston & Brandy:
Impossible! For a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage, Impossible! For a plain country bumpkin and a prince to join in marriage, And four white mice will never be four white horses, Such falder-all-and-fiddle-dee-dee of course is Impossible, But the world is full of zanies and fools, Who don't believe in sensible rules, And won't believe what sensible people say, And because these daft and dewey-eyed dopes, Keep building up impossible hopes, Impossible things are happening everyday.
And four white mice are easily turned to horses, Such falder-all-and-fiddle-dee-dee of course is Quite possible, It's possible.
