Some people have courage from the early years.....

"In fact, my courage and my bravery at a young age was the thing I was bullied for, a kind of 'Who do you think you are?'"
- Lady Gaga

Courage does not depend on size. The movie 'Twins' shows an excellent example this.

Movie 'It Takes Two':
The parents seemed to have less courage than the kids. Was it because of maturity?

#SongLesson:

From the song 'The Living Years' by MIKE & THE MECHANICS:

You say you just don't see it
He says it's perfect sense
You just can't get agreement
In this present tense
We all talk a different language
Talking in defense

Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late when we die
To admit we don't see eye to eye

So we open up a quarrel
Between the present and the past
We only sacrifice the future
It's the bitterness that lasts

So don't yield to the fortunes
You sometimes see as fate
It may have a new perspective
On a different date
And if you don't give up, and don't give in
You may just be O.K.

Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late when we die
To admit we don't see eye to eye

"The secret to life; one can only see clearly with the heart. Anything that is essential is invisible to the eyes. How much time and effort you've spent on someone or something is what makes them so important."

Young people, especially teenagers, have to deal with peer pressure.
"They may be feeling 'peer pressure' and may think that to 'fit in' they would have to adopt similar values, beliefs, and goals or participate in the same activities as their friends. A 4-year-old who begs for a toy because her friends all have it is experiencing peer pressure. An adult who buys a luxury car because others in the neighborhood have luxury cars is responding to peer pressure."

On the path to full maturity...Not totally mature - immature in some ways, mature in some ways.

Song 'I am not a girl, not yet a woman' by Britney Spears:

"You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair."
- Douglas MacArthur
Do you think it is weird for adults to play video games (considered games for the young)?
Some people do. But research shows that adults who play video games are happier.

"... [G]aming adults have a daily chance to engage in playful behavior, similarly to how many of us used to play when we were younger. This stronger connection to your inner child can help you to be happier and enjoy life more fully."
- Kayla Matthews, 10 Reasons Why Adults Who Play Video Games Are Happier,

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
- Holy Bible, I Corinthians 13:11

"...Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth."
- Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

Knowing when to be immature or the realm to be immature........

How do you view older women who dress in young, hip clothes?
Should adult women give up young, immature clothing and instead choose to wear mature, matronly clothing after a certain age?
Is it wrong for an older, first-time bride to wear a dress a young bride would wear?

Article: Why DO young women go out dressed like this? We meet nightclubbers in four major cities to find the surprising and unsettling answer to the question despairing mothers are asking
